Cannabis and art

Limerick Day…

Now for something a little silly and different.

National Limerick Day is held every year on May 12. It pays homage to the man who made the short poems popular – Edward Lear. Lear was an English poet who is best known for his nonsense-style, and often wrote with made-up words.

There was an Old Man with a Beard  – by Edward Lear

There was an Old Man with a beard,
Who said, “It is just as I feared!—
Two Owls and a Hen, four Larks and a Wren,
Have all built their nests in my beard.

We tried our own … perhaps not as exciting or non-sensical – LOL

1 Mill Limerick – by CQ

Our store is in Belfast and it’s named 1 Mill.
We think it’s fun to visit and very chill.
Open seven days a week.
Time for everyone to peak –
At a variety of green items that thrill.

In times like these, we think it is a fun idea to partake in your favorite type of medicinal cannabis and experiment with some sort of art – whether it be drawing, painting, coloring, journaling, or writing. Anything you can do to express yourself helps to relieve stress and can be a lot of fun!
